Corporate Social Responsibily (CSR) Program

Dear all,
We are looking for support to assist Orang Asli at Pos Menson, 30 minutes drive from Brinchang, Cameron Highlands in December 2018 (tentative date 28 & 29 Dec). Hostelling International Malaysia was the first group to visit them after decades of this group of villages existence in 2016.

We are seeking financial contribution for the following:
- per household parcel of rice, sugar, cooking oil, salt (estimated cost RM75)
- per school age child parcel of an uniform set, pair of socks & shoes, school bag, water bottle, stationery set (estimated cost RM100)
- contributions to built new public toilets at new location. The existing toilets are subject to soil erosion & will fall into the river.

We also welcome donations in kind but prefer financial donations as we have limited 4 wheel drives to ferry these items. We will also use cash to purchase the household items locally there to support the local economy, it did not made sense to drive these items there.

We are also seeking pre loved clothes especially SCHOOL UNIFORMS, kids & adults clothing. It should be in good condition with no holes or tears, & folded. Once the school year is over, give us your school uniforms!

You are welcome to join us to visit them. Please drive your 4 wheel drive vehicle and bring your camping gear & food along for this overnight trip. The lovely drive would be through the alternative roads to Cameron Highlands.

We have donated school bags, socks, uniforms and stationery set to school going children at the Pos Mension Orang Asli Settlement. We also donated household goods like rice bag, sugar, cooking oil and salt. We were assisted by 16 members of the association on the said date.
