YHA India Visit Malaysia

YHA India Trip to Malaysia

HI-Malaysia hosted 39 YHA India members headed by it National Chairman, Mr S. Venkat Narayanan and assisted by 4 committee members. They arrived on 18/11/2023 till 23/11/2023 (6 days, 5 nights), They visited Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas. The itinerary as follows.

Day1 Saturday 18 November 2023

The members were greeted at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) by Ms Bessie Cheah (Deputy President of HI-Malaysia), Ms Lim May Lee (HI-Malaysia Exco Member) and Mr. Lionel Louis (HI-Malaysia National Secretary)

     

The group moved from KLIA at 9:45am and reached YMCA Kuala Lumpur at 10:30am. While waiting for the rooms to be ready the group been treated to a late breakfast/ early lunch welcome meal at Hussein Cafe.

  

The group gathered back at the lobby for briefing by Mr. Saiful Hizam Mansor ( HI-Malaysia Vise President) and Mr S. Venkat Narayanan.. The group was went for a short stroll to visit Central Market, Jalan Masjid India and surrounding areas by Mr Saiful Hizam Mansor and Ms Bessie Cheah. They also had their dinner at the restaurant in  Jalan Masjid India. After dinner free time to stroll around and back to hotel.

   

  

Day2 Sunday 19 November 2023

The group meet for breakfast at 7:30am at Hussein Cafe. The group left to visit Putrajaya, administrative center of Malaysia for sightseeing and shopping at Putrajaya IOI Mall and lunch. They left Putrajaya at 5:30pm and reach YMCA at 6:45pm and gathered for dinner at 7:30pm at Mamak Restaurant

      

Day3 Monday 20 November 2023

The group meet for breakfast at 7:30am at Mamak Restaurant and left to visit Genting Highlands at 8:30am. They reach foot of Genting Highland at 9:30am and visited Premium Outlet Mall an had lunch there. After lunch they took the cable car to go up to Chin Swee Caves Temple and Genting  Sky World Theme Park. Moved from Genting Highlands at 6:00pm and reach YMCA at 7:45pm and had dinner at Mamak Restaurant 8:30pm

      

Day4 Tuesday 21 November 2023

The group meet for breakfast at 7:30am at Mamak Restaurant and left to visit Historical City of Melaka and visited A Famosa Port,, Jonker Street, Christ Church Melaka, The Stadhuys, St. Paul Church and lunch at Melaka . Took the Melaka River Cruise after lunch. Left Melaka at 5:30pm and reach YMCA Kuala Lumpur at 7:00pm Ate dinner at Mamak Restaurant at 8:30pm

        

Day5 Wednesday 22 November 2023

The group meet for breakfast at 7:30am at  Mamak Restaurant. Went to visit Kuala Lumpur tourist spots Merdeka Square/Bangunan Sultan Sulaiman,, Matic, Batu Caves and Petronas Twin Towers KLCC. Lunch at Batu Caves and reached back at YMCA at 5:30pm . Meet up for dinner at 7:30pm at Mamak Restaurant.

         

Day6 Thursday 23 November 2023

Breakfast at 8:30am and wish farewell to the YHA India members.  HI-Malaysia also hosted Mr S. Venkat Narayanan and his committee at Selangor Royal Yatch Club.
