Hostel: YHA London Thameside

1. I found London-Thameside via the YHA/HI website.
2. We travelled mostly by London Underground since it is within walking
distance to the nearest tube station - Rotherhithe.
3. It was alright. But the shower 'cubicle' in the 6-bedded dorm was very
cramped there was very little room for movement. Overall the place is clean
and tidy. The stacked beds, however, was quite difficult to climb up to,
but it was not much of a problem.
4. Yes.
5. Unfortunately I do not have pictures of the hostel. But it is fairly
easy to get around the city with just a basic city map and a London
tube/metro map (both available online I'm certain).

Review Hostel: Perth City YHA-Perth, Australia

There are two airports in Perth the Domestic airport and the International
airport.
The hostel is about a 30 minute drive from the International airport.
The shuttle buses depart with every incoming flight, and will drive you
directly to the hostel.
The cost is $18.00 for one person or $30.00 for two people.
If you have any further questions please contact us.

Review Hostel: On The Top YHA-Dunedin, N.Z

1) How did you find the  ON THE TOP YHA-DUNEDIN, N.Z
We have been on the lookout for reasonably priced but established accommodation. Thus our internet search would normally point towards YHA . This is just one of those occasion.

2) How did you travel around NEW ZEALAND
We hired a car and drive to destinations pre-planned in our itinerary.

3) How do you find the experience staying at the YHA/HIs mention above
Wonderful ! Friendly and no-hassle check-in as well as check-out. Good surroundings smack in the middle of the city with everything within reach.

4) Would you recommend it to others
 Yes.
5) Did you over night at the airport in NEW ZEALAND and are the airports there open 24 hours.
We stayed at a hotel near Auckland airport. No , the airport was closed till sometime after 7 am. We were catching an early flight to Queenstown and had to wait for a while before the airport opens.

6) Please suggest good places to eat during your travel and cheap
a.) When in Auckland, do take a ferry to Devonport and spend sometime strolling and relaxing.
b.) Take a drive along the lakes in the South Island and enjoy the fantastic sceneries. Take lots of photos as the sceneries are more beautiful than all the posters that you've ever seen.

7)Please suggest nice places for shopping and buying souvenir
When looking for souvenirs, I would suggest main streets in Auckland and Queenstown which offers plenty of choice. There are also lots of cafes to stop by for breaks in between your shoppings.

Review Hostel:

FYI, we are not staying in hihostel for travelling to Perth, Australia, as we are going to stay at friend's house. However, I found from internet that yha membership card may be useful in australia as "concession", that's one of the reason we applied this time.

I have stayed in hihostel for several countries before, including Delhi, yhachina (hangzhou, nanjing, shuzhou, xiamen, gulangyu etc), as well as Salzberg.

I have great experience of staying in hihostel at those places. The connectivity is good, and the front desk staffs are always helpful. There are no kitchen available in China, however food is very cheap, we don't mind eating out.

Hihostel in Dehli is amazing, it's charged with very minimal price yet sitting at the centre of embassies or high commission, yes, it's at a luxury locations. We can easily get a "tut tut"  outside the compound, it's has no issues of getting transport.

Hihostel at Salzburg is a bit hard to find. It's located in a garden residence. We arrived in the middle of the night cause we missed a train. The front desk staff have gone back. However, we were assisted by an assistant/cleaner to check in. Highly appreciate that. Btw, the breakfast in that hostel is awesome.

All in all, I like staying in hihostel. Reason being is it's relatively low cost which is suitable for budget trip/bagpacks, and it's clean with all the amenities travellers would need. Yhachina building/structure are mostly unique with lots of culture/historical elements.

I have recommended to quite a number of friends and family, and they all like it.

Well done, hihostel!
